The aim of the course is to provide the basic information about A. the linguistic terminology and categorisation, B. Norwegian language position in the history and contemporary tendences

  • Linguistics - categorisation and terminology.
  • The representants of the Scandinavian and European linguistics.
  • Indoeuropean languages.
  • Norwegian language reforms in the 19th a 20th centuries.
