- Course objectives
- The course informs about the historical and present of Central Asian, Siberian and East Asian languages. The lectures offer the informations about geography, ethnogenesis and cultural history also. Main objective: to understand the language families and distribution of separate languages. Students should be acquainted with the ethno- and glottogonic situation of the Central and Northeast Asia in the past and present.

- 1. Altaic languages (1.1. Turkic languages, 1.2. Mongolic languages, 1.3. Tungusic languages, 1.4. Korean, 1.5. Japanese); small languages of the Russian Far East: 2. Samoyedic, 3. Yukaghir, 4. Chukcho-Kamchatkan, 5. Nivx, 6. Eskaleutan, 7. Yenisseian. Jazyki Azii i Afriki III: Paleoaziatskije jazyki [jukagirský, čukčo-kamčatské, eskimo-aleutské, nivchský] Moskva 1979.
