Course objectives
The subject "School administration and financing" gives participants all the necessary information about the functioning and organization of the education system concerning its management from the Czech educational policy´s point of view. The course will be divided into thematic areas, which will also reflect current issues. Within the topic of financing, particular attention will be paid to current project challenges.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the students will: - understand and describe the organization and management of individual levels of the education system - know basic legislative and strategic educational documents - apply knowledge from the field of project financing to own proposals - analyze trends in current issues of the education system

  • 1. Educational system, individual levels and types of schools, founders 2. Infrastructure of organizations and institutions (EU, MŠMT, NPI, ČŠI, DZS) 3. Legislative, strategic, curricular documents 4. Method of planning interventions in the educational system (KAP, MAP) 5. Selected topics influencing the operation of the school (equal opportunities, inclusion, support for the gifted, technology, adult education, etc.) 6. Project calls and financing
