Course objectives
After completing the course the students will be able to explain the major schools of the philosophy 19th and early 20th century (utilitarism, positivism, philosophy of life, materialism, marxism, pragmatism, phenomenology, existentialism), their objectives, main theses and methods.
Learning outcomes
Based on the acquired knowledge, motivated students will be able to critically evaluate the main trends, currents, themes, problems and personalities in 19th century philosophy.
