Course objectives
The objective of the course is to analyse and reflect the pedagogical practice, if need be a consultation of practice II.
Learning outcomes
After the practical teachers training (pedagogical practice), students will be able to analyze their didactical experience and find the reasons of their success/failure during the work in class.
Syllabus
  • 1. Educational and pedagogical role of teacher in lessons of ZSV. Practical duties of secondary school teacher
    2. Analysis of the experiences from the teaching attempts of students (the pedagogic practice).

Teaching methods
Learning specific training procedures in civics, contents and methods of instruction in optional subjects at grammar school, project instruction. Regular part of the course are analyses of instructional attempts from pedagogical experience and discussions on gained experience.
Assessment methods
Requirements for the completion of the course (credits):
Completion of pedagogical practice according to the conditions of Department of Philosophy. Active participation in reflection on pedagogical practice. Oral presentation of methods and forms of teaching, textbooks, teaching aids, didactic techniques for a selected topic within the subject "OBV/ZSV"; then presentation of suitable methods for evaluating knowledge (according to the requirements of state exam in the programme Teaching of Social Studies Basics - part of the exam from didactics of Social Studies Basics). Individual topics: Personality (basic characteristics, important moments of development)
Psychology of daily life, a human being in stressful situations, psychohygiene
Socialization, emergence of social ties
Communication (verbal, non-verbal)
Social groups, status, roles, social mobility
Democracy, elections
Human rights (including fundamental documents, organizations ...)
State (signs, types, forms, functions)
Political systems (state, political organizations, civil society)
Constitution of the Czech Republic - state powers and their institutional definition
Law (functions, types, sources, legal norms and regulations)
System of law in the Czech Republic (branches of law and their main sources)
The Czech Republic in international organizations; European integration - development, meaning, current state
Global problems
Elementary macroeconomic categories and their relations
Market mechanism
Role of a state in market economy
