Course objectives
One semester course covers problem of stylistics and on journalism profession. Students familiarize with requirements for short journalism forms (paragraph, note, information and other), as well as longer texts (report, interview, feature, review and other). The aim of this course is to bridge the theory of journalism with the art of journalism, putting emphasis on developing writing skills. Radio and television recordings are used to facilitate this course.
After completing the course students will be able to:
- use information and lexis in communication with native speakers
- build correct grammatical structures
- write in proper Polish
- know Polish orthography rules
