Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide in-depth information about proofreading rules. Prerequisite for the course is a good knowledge of Czech orthographic norm and understanding of proofreading symbols. Classes will take place in computer classroom allowing each student to try both paper and electronic form of proofreading. Every lesson will focus on working with longer text to simulate typical proofreading work.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will:
- be able to do complete proofreading;
- make electronic revision of text by using different tools;
- make proofreading of different types of text.

Working with text to simulate typical proofreading work, paper and electronic form of proofreading.
Assessment methods
To successfully complete the course it is required to actively participate seminars and lectures, return all given home works on time and pass final written exam.
