Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with translation and interpreting practice in EU institutions or to realize an original translation project.
Learning outcomes
Students will acquaint with translation and interpreting practice in EU institutions or be able to realize an original translation project.

  • 1) Preparatory phase - before departure a) translation practice b) interpreting practice 2) Internship at the EU institutions (Luxembourg, Brussels) 3) Final phase - evaluation after return

Teaching methods
Full-day seminars and workshops with experts in the preparatory week. Internship: Foreign intensive continuous internship at the EU institutions in Brussels / Luxembourg Final phase: evaluation of the internship after return.
