Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: 1. understand and explain dimensionality and typology of crisis situation 2. recognize type of crises, posible proceses and methods of intervention 3. know methods of direct work with clients in crises 4. know how to offer support to stabilize clients 5. know ethics 6. know different and common traits of crisis intervention and phone crisis intervention 7. be able to work in model situations

  • 1. bacis concepts on crisis intervention 2. causes, typology and stages of crisis 3. crisis solving, coping strategies, professional and unprofesional help, selfhelp. 4. crisis intervention – principles and methods. Different and common traits of crisis intervention and phone crisis intervention. 5. personality of a crisis therapist. Education and courses. Ethics, Supercison, Law. 6. PTSD and its therapy, Acute stress reaction, traumatic crisis.
