Course objectives
Didactics of psychology: This course is open to students, interested to teach psychology on secondary schools. The goal is to introduce them into the content as well as various forms of teaching in respect to different types of secondary schools, learning of effective teaching methods. Course serves to gain an insight into the structure of content thought (didactical analysis of the content). Visits of classes and independent teaching at secondary schools are an integral part of this course.

  • 1. General didactics. Classification. General and specific didactics.
  • 2. Psychology didactic. Subject and characteristics. General didactic and psychology-specific didactic. General didactic instructions in teaching of psychology.
  • 3. Teacher education. Lifelong learning. Teacher of psychology.
  • 4. Psychological aspects of didactic principles.
  • 5. Course of psychology - structure and specification.
  • 6. Group work - principles, theory and practice.
  • 7. Educational methods in teaching of psychology.
  • 8. Problem-focused teaching.
  • 9. Individual work in educational process.
  • 10. The role of exercise in teaching of psychology.
  • 11. Experimental demonstration.
  • 12. Psychological games.
  • 13. Methods of situation and psychological training in group.
  • 14. Literature exploring.
  • 15. Didactic and teaching materials in teaching of psychology.
  • 16. Deciding on educational goals.
  • 17. Didactic analysis of subject matter.
