    Course objectives
    Students will learn to apply their knowledge of psychological research in other areas, especially in hardware and software development. They will learn to formulate a valid research question; they will learn to recognize what type of research to choose at which stage of product development, what metrics to select for a given user problem.
    Learning outcomes
    Students will:
  • learn how to design software applications taking into account different cognitive characteristics of users
  • learn methods and techniques for identifying user needs and constraints
  • learn to apply psychological knowledge in the design of different devices, software and in the development of new technologies
