- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is deepening the knowledge of contemporary Russian realia and language abilities of listeners by reading the Russian literature in the original. The students will individually choose the works of the contemporary Russian literature according to their preferences and interests and will individually read them. The subject is finished by the discussion of the lecturer and the students about the read works. It is expected that student will be able to interpret the social realia of the literary works and to comment on the linguistic aspect of the works with arguments. The students of the double-subject study programme will read two works of the contemporary Russian literature.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing the course, the student:
- will have the broaden and deepen knowledge of the contemporary Russian literature;
- will be able to comment on its linguistic aspect with arguments;
- to understand the social, cultural and historical context of the texts. - Syllabus
- The syllabus of the course is changeable as the subject includes the independent reading of literary texts according to needs and interests of the singular students.
