Course objectives
A survey of religious beliefs and practices in prehistoric Europe, from the beginnings to the "pagan" Slavonic religion; chronology of various forms of religious development as reconstructed from archaeological sources; written sources within the protohistorical period (religions of the Celts, Thracians, Scythians, Germans and Slavs).

Dostatečný prostor je ponechán k otevřené diskusi o tématu. Požadavky ke kolokviu a zkoušce: dostatečná účast na práci v semináři, přehled obecné teorie pravěké religionistiky, znalost hlavních rysů náboženství raně historických etnik Evropy, základní orientace v odborné literatuře k tématu.
