Course objectives
The course is focused on gaining practical experience in NGO and media. The student is finding, though the seminars with the NGO and media workers, what skills are necessary for this type of work.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course:
student knows more exactly his/her possibilities for applying expertise in NGOs and media;
developes his/her social capital through cooperation with a selected organization;
this way he/she is able to accumulate experience from the chosen field of practice;
is able to develop his strategic thinking about his/her working opportunities and consequently also his/her competences by self-study and practice;
cumulates expirience by his/her expert work for a chosen organization;
developes his/her social skills through cooperative work.

Teaching methods
Discussions with experts from field of practice, homework - according to the needs and agenda of a particular cooperating organization.
Assessment methods
In cooperation with particular NGO the students work on a semestral essay. Its quality creates 100% of overall evaluation in the course.
