Course objectives
In this course, students acquire the information and skills necessary to submit a successful grant application. At the end of the course, students will be able to write up a grant proposal. The proposal should meet the criteria for a proposal submitted to the Internal Grant Agency of Masaryk University or, alternatively, the Czech Science Foundation (Grantová agentura České republiky, GAČR) or the Grant Agency of Masaryk University (Grantová agentura Masarykovy univerzity, GAMU). Students will also be able to submit a project in English and as members of a research team.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
  • define a grant, grant policy and grant strategy;
  • understand the principles of grant applications;
  • submit an individual grant application;
  • submit the project in English and as members of a research team.
