Tento jednosemestrální kurz je věnován problematice historického a sociologického kontextu vývoje hudby v Anglii v 17. a 18. století, jejich skladatelům, používaným hudebním formám a pod. (Blow, Purcell, Haendel-opery, oratoria, Arne-písně atd.).
