Course objectives
At the end of the course, students will have basic idea of the structure of Spanish vocabulary from the point of view of diachronic social linguistics.

  • Arabian vocabulary.
  • Early Mediaval Spanish vocabulary.
  • Renaissance Spanish vocabulary.

Lecture: exposition and definitions of basic terms of diachronich lexicology and their exemplification on different of specific texts from different periods.
