Course objectives
The course Written presentation II is a continuation of Written presentation I. The course is intended to deepen more demanding elements in written presentation that comes from working with larger indigenous literary and journalistic sources such as newspaper reports, recordings of radio and television news broadcasts.
Syllabus
  • 1. Television as a modern god: Discussion about the role of television in everyday life in Sweden and the Czech Republic 2. Newspapers or Internet: The benefits of buying newspapers and reading newspapers on the Internet 3. Expressen or Blesk: Comparing the Swedish and Czech tabloid newspapers 4. Politics and everyday life: A letter to politicians or members of Parliament 5. Why vote and who? Essay on political preferences, reasons for the choices 6. Ingmar Bergman visiting: Report on the work and life of a Swedish artist (important personalities in cultural life)
