Course objectives
The aim of the subject is a scholarly study published in a scientific journal. Common minimal length is 10 standard pages, or depending on the practice in specific periodicals.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course student will be able:
- to independently choose the topic of the paper;
- to write the required academic text;
- to reflect the comments of the opponents and to improve the text;
- to meet the conditions for admission of an academic text in a peer-reviewed journal.
Syllabus
  • The main topic is modelled after the topic of the student's dissertation thesis, usually following a consultation with the supervisor.

Individual work, tutorials.
Assessment methods
The credit will be awarded after the publication of the academic text.
