Course objectives
Learning outcomes of this course are to introduce basic terminology, concepts, key authors and literature about arts and culture, thus creating a terminological and knowledge base, which will be further developed during the study of other courses dealing with sub-themes from the field of art and culture.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- define the basic concepts of art and cultural studies;
- have sufficient orientation in professional literature about art and cultural studies;
- understand the application the basic concepts of art and cultural studies in the literature from this field ;
- use the basic concepts of art and cultural studies actively for reasoning in their written academic texts.
