Course objectives
The conversation in CSL will be realized both between the lector (native user) and the students and between the students themselves. The lectures are organized by topics (thematic areas) in order to train the vocabulary and grammar learned in obligatory courses (Language practice III and Czech Sign Language III). The emphasis is given on the feedback and interaction (understanding of every-day-use vocabulary, direct communication, understanding of instruction and question).
Learning outcomes
Students can take part in a natural conversation without preparation. they can talk about every-day topics and can follow the CSL speech that is addressed to them. They are able to ask for repetition of the expressions in case they don't understand. They may have problems with expressing themselves exactly, but they can continue with the conversation without bigger problems. They can express their feelings such as surprise, happiness, sadness, interest, indifference. At the same time, they know how to react to similar emotions of other people.
