Course objectives
Seminar is focused on the problem of so called critical reason. Various types and forms of the art criticism are introduced as well as its historical development.
Syllabus
  • 1. Analysis of the criticism
  • 2. Historical development of the criticism
  • 3. Structure of the review, essay etc.
  • 4. Specific qualities of the criticism in various art disciplines
  • 5. Moral and social aspects of the criticism N
  • 6. Analysis of the reviews written by students
