Přednáška se zamýšlí nad vývojem vztahu italské literatury období středověku a renesance k přírodě jako inspiračnímu zdroji i předmětu poznání.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Mystická oslava přírody v díle sv. Františka z Assisi; alegorická funkce zvířat ve vybraných kapitolách z Dantovy Božské komedie; metaforická funkce přírodních jevů ve středověké milostné lyrice; krajina jako stav duše v Petrarkově Zpěvníku. Přírodní jevy v aforismech o lidských mravech (Leonardo Da Vinci); básnická pojednání o přírodě (Alamanni, Rucellai); idylické krajiny a pastorální náměty (Sannazaro); přírodní motivy v renesanční lyrice; přírodní scenérie velkých epických skladeb 16. století (Ariosto, Tasso); snaha o hlubší poznání zákonitostí přírodní a vesmírné reality v době renesance
