Znalost latinské gramatiky v rozsahu učebnice A. Bartoňka, Latina pro posluchače filozofické fakulty (např. Brno 2001, 9. vydání), nebo J. Špaňára - E. Kettnera, Latina pro gymnázia (např. Praha 1965, 7. vydání).

Course objectives (in Czech)
Náplní semináře bude četba a interpretace latinského textu autobiografie Karla IV. Vita Karoli.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Kromě komentovaného čtení životopisu bude na semináři věnována pozornost sporům, které se v dosavadním bádání vedly (a vedou) např. ohledně doby vzniku díla, jeho autorství, žánrového zařazení, funkce apod. V souvislosti s problematikou Karlovy autobiografie bude rovněž představena panovníkova další literární činnost a zasazena do kontextu dobového písemnictví.
