Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to understand and know kind of contemporary electronic information resources; to use, search in databases, digital libraries, OPACs, search engines

  • Information retrieval systems, Electronic information resources - terminology, sorting
  • Professional Information Resources - databases, knowledge and database centers, producers and agregator of professional licensed and open access information
  • Digital libraries: terminology, projects
  • Online catalogues OPAC, online library services
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Internet: trends, searcher behavior researches, advanced methods of web searching, information literacy
  • Information retrieval - generalization of searching strategy
