Course objectives
Course objectives: to make the students familiar with the basic features of the architecture, especially of the 20th century; to give the survey about libraries architecture history and about the most important buildings, refering to the Czech and world libraries; the libraries architecture is a manifestation of the social and cultural development, by their understanding and the knowledge of the library civil work principles the students of Information and Library Studies learn to be architects partners at the dialogue refering to the new library buildings or the reconstructions.
