Course objectives
Since this course is connected to cjva2p, which is a fully online course, there is a need for the students to engage in spoken English. The aim of this course is to give the students the opportunity to discuss the issues connected to the course both with the teacher as well as with the other students. Students will also learn how to use an online environment for academic communication in English.
Learning outcomes
The students should be more confident in discussing the matters concerning the course in more elaborate English, and should learn to provide their opinions in English academically. They will also learn to use online tools, such as videoconferencing and videorecording, for academic communication.
Syllabus
  • The course consists of 3 COMPULSORY online meetings. Two meetings are with the teacher, one is with other students. In the meetings the content of the course is discussed. The students are also required to watch the tutorial videos in the study materials. Their knowledge of the videos will be discussed in one of the meetings.
