Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to help the student work on his/her project of the dissertation. This is done in three phases (together with subjects "Doctoral Thesis Project I" and "Doctoral Thesis Project II"). In this third and final phase, the doctoral student in close co-operation with his/her supervisor (tutor) will prepare a final version of a dissertation project ("Project") with
1) precisely formulated and relevant research topic,
2) clearly defined methodological framework and
3) in-depth review of existing literature. This Project will be evaluated by a commission and the result of the evaluation will decide whether the student will be allowed to continue his/her research. Before the commission evaluation, the student has to present her/his results to students as a pedagogical practice. The scope of this presentation will be specified by the supervisor.
Learning outcomes
After the completion of this course/phase, the student will: - be able to conduct a research based on the Project.
