Course objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of basic concepts of international and European law in order to understand international and European dimension of law. Main objective of the course is to make students clearly to realize, that the phenomenon of law is not limited to internal law, but has an international and European dimension as well. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the specificities of international law and know its basic source - international treaty. They should be able also to understand the supranational character of the EU, its institutional structure and its basic sources of law applicable by Czech courts.
