Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand the mechanism of functioning of regular ICT that are being used in private and public legal practice
- critically assess the functionality and efficiency of automated processing of legal information
- choose and practically implement particular tools for automated processing of legal information
Syllabus
  • Electronic documents - definitions, creation, storage, evidence
  • Electronic communication of legal information (data mailboxes, electronic submissions etc.)
  • Security of legal information
  • Automated information processing in the judiciary
  • Automated information processing in commercial legal practice
  • Electronic registries and assistant applications
Literature
  • Dovednostní kurz - studijní materiály budou studentům zpřístupněny prostřednictvím interaktivní osnovy
Teaching methods
Practice with demonstration and practical training.
Assessment methods
Compulsory attendance, final written test (open questions).
