- Course objectives
- The basic aims of education is to understand of conception, structure, forms, functions and basic principles of criminal procedure and criminal process. Student will take forms of criminal procedure, position of subjects of criminal procedure and questions of evidence procedure as the ground of criminal process. Presentation will cover the stages of criminal procedure, special ways of proceedings, appeal procedure, international cooperation in criminal matters, execution. Presentations will be accompanied by suitable examples from practice, which will be developed during seminars. Criminal procedure against legal persons and international co-operation in criminal matters will be newly targeting. All the parts will be accompanying with fair trial comments.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be well oriented within proces and specificities of Czech criminal proceedings, including tis international ( and EU) dimensions in line of international judicial co operation. Théby will be ale perceive criminal proceedings as compact way of fulfilling of AIM of criminal proces ( section 1 CCPC) As to way to mutualise of theory (criminal proceedings) and practice of criminal proces. Education will be targeting as fundament for succesfull passing of State Final Exam.

- Introduction to study of criminal procedure, basics, sources, competence and explanation of criminal procedure, preliminary questions, basic principles of criminal procedure, subjects, coercive measures, evidence, decision, preliminary proceedings, main trial, public and closed procedure, appeal procedure, special ways of proceedings, international cooperation in criminal matters, execution.

- Teaching methods
- Seminars are interactive. Students together with lecturer analyse individual pre-prepared cases law from practice and take views to them or theirs aspects. Lecture reacts in such a way, that he/she reminds on possible wrong practice for their solving and provides alternative possibilities.

- Education constists from lectures and seminars, and is finished by credit. Conditions of credit: information from main trial, participation in seminars, written credit written work on list seminar.
