Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce law students into the system of Latin morphology and the rudiments of syntax so that they could read simple Latin texts and look up any Latin legal term.
Syllabus
  • Latin pronunciation. Noun derivations - nouns, adjectives, pronouns, numerals. Verb derivations - present, past, future I., active and passive structures. Adverb formation. Reading and interpreting Latin legal expressions, concepts and sentences.
