Course objectives
The main objective of the course is the preparation for the participation in the Summer School NICLAS (University of Vienna) and for wider number of interested students the understanding of of the justice as the "third power" of the State in the context of International, European and constitutional law. The course comprises special topics as democratic legitimization of the justice, access to international courts, comparative aspects of the constitutional justice, links to human rights protection etc. The langusage of the course is partly Czech and partly English.
Syllabus
  • democratic legitimization of the justice, access to international courts, comparative aspects of the constitutional justice, links to human rights protection, Area of freedom, Security and Justice in the EU, European Court of Justice as the constitutional court, rule of law and rule of justice
