Course objectives
At the end of the course, the students who have succeeded: - have basic theoretical and practical knowledge of “public property” sphere and its legal regulation - are able to explain connections and relationships between legal regulation of public property and administration law and civil law as well - are able to administer legal rules in certain cases - are able to provide solutions for factual case studies - are able to sustain chosen solution of the case study.
Syllabus
  • Public property in law and society – the term and meaning of public property; related legal, economical and sociological bedrock. State property I – states ownership and other property rights and their exercise; definition of state property; acquisition of property by state and state property management. State property II – disposal of state property, liability for state property management and control of observance of the management rules. Territorial self-governing units property I – municipalities and regions ownership and other property rights; definition of municipalities and regions property; acquisition of property by municipalities and regions and municipalities and regions property management. Territorial self-governing units property II - disposal of municipalities and regions property, liability for municipalities and regions property management and control of observance of the management rules. Other public entities property – survey, definition of their property, property acquisition, management and disposal.
