- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject Tourism law is to make the acquaintance of students with the application practice of valid tourism law. Another objective is to deepen the knowledge of civil law in this area
- Learning outcomes
- Graduates of this course will be able to understand the basic institutes in the field of tourism law, will get an overview of the basic contractual arrangements that are in place in this area and will be orientated in the legislation related to tourism. Furthermore, they will be able to identify the subjects of tourism both on the part of consumers and entrepreneurs and, last but not least, will describe the activities of public administration in this sector.
- Syllabus
- 1. Legal regulation of tourism - Czech, European, international. Basic terms and definitions. Introduction to the problem. Act No. 159/1999 Coll., Conditions for granting the credit.
- 2. Travel agency and travel agency - definitions, rights and obligations towards clients - consumers, other subjects of tourism and the state. The role of administrative authorities in the field of tourism.
- 3. Contract and tour and disputes arising out of it. Mediation and sales representation.
- 4. Selected Tourism Issues - Accommodation Services, Spa, Monument Care, Nature and Landscape Protection.
- 5. Selected issues of tourism - national and international passenger transport.
- 6. Selected Tourism Issues - Guide Services. Cross-border provision of tourism services.
