Cíle předmětu
The twelve hour course will acquaint the students with the jury trial system in American courts with emphasis on civil trials. There will be full discussion of the history and right to a jury trial, qualifications to serve as jurors, how jurors are selected to serve, the issues juries decide, and the deliberative process leading to a verdict. Students will participate in mock exercises involving jury issues involving a real case fact scenario.
