Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to teach students to recognize labor relations, to distinguish them from other relevant legal relations, to distinguish between "standard" employment and civil servants' employment. As graduates of the course, students will be able to orient themselves in detail in the creation, change and termination of (employment and) service relationships, as well as in issues of contractual and directive regulation of working conditions, the obligation to compensate for property damage and non-property damage or collective labor legal relations.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: • - to distinguish the type of employment relationship and the relevant legislation • -to define and distinguish employment relationship in the private sector and the civil service relationship • - be well informed about specific of employment a working condition on private and public sector • - to apply gained knowledge in the praxis in case of establishment, changes and termination of employment and civil service relationship
Syllabus
  • Labour law - subject, The relationship between the Labour Code and the Civil Code and the Act on civil service and the Act of service relationship of the member of law enforcement units. Basic characteristics of the employment relationship and civil service. Establishment of an employment relationship, civil service relationship, changes and termination of employment Accountability system in   employment law. Collective bargaining and collective agreements.

Teaching methods
PPT presentation (interactivity of students). Individual preparation at home for prescribed issues, solution of practical examples (application of theoretical knowledge to practical problems), Lesson takes place in the form of consultations.
