Course objectives
The course deals with basic elements of the issues of the political extremism and radicalism. Students will learn a history of main forms of political extremism and radicalism and contemporary main representatives of right-wing extremism, left-wing extremism and other forms of political extremism. This theme is conceptualized in a global framework, however, a specific attention is paid to the Czech Republic.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to describe the concepts of political extremism and radicalism and will be able to use them in analyzing political activities

Lectures and written homework.
Assessment methods
The final exam consist of two parts - written homework (max. 10 points) and final written exam (max. 20 points). Evaluation: 28-30 points: A 25-27 points: B 22-24 points: C 20-21 points: D 18-19 points: E 17 and less: F
