Syllabus
  • The summer school will last six full working days, each dedicated to a specific topic within the issue. The core of the program comprises of issue-related lectures and practice-oriented workshop focusing on policy repercussions, relations with major energy producers, hydrocarbons development, electricity production and transportation etc. The summer school includes a field trip to two facilities. The first one is ČEZ Group's Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. A field trip to a nuclear power plant is a unique experience. Students will be acquainted with the operation of a nuclear facility, and will take part in guided tour through the power plant site, the engine room, and the control room training simulator. The second facility will be the nearby Dalešice Hydroelectric Power Plant with guided tour through the facility, which serves as water reservoir for Dukovany NPP. Memorable experiences both, and two of the greatest pleasures of the summer course. See www.summer-school.cz for more information.
