Course objectives
This session is instructing and empowering students in the skills necessary for success in academic field as well as their future carreers. The course will be held during the 6th or 7th week of the semester (students will be informed well in advance).
Syllabus
  • 1) Academic writing 2) Referencing, etics of academic writing, presentation skills 3) Speaking & presenting: fundamentals and effective strategies of formal presentations and discussions in academic field 4) Critical thinking, argumentation, basic logical fallacies

Teaching methods
Students will be trained how to develop their academic skills most effectively. They will use acquired knowledge to carry out short practical exercises and discuss related problems in class.
