Course objectives
The course is devoted to analysis of civilian and military crisis management of the European Union as part of the Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to understand the meaning of the EU crisis management for the EU itself as well as for the management of crises in selected regions, to have an overview about completed and ongoing EU crisis management operations, to be able to evaluate the development of EU crisis management capabilities and institutions and last but not least to analyze the participation of the Czech Republic in EU crisis management operations.
