- Course objectives
- The lectures present an overview of selected political systems in Latin America. At the end of the course, the students should be able to describe and analyze the executive, legislative and judicial powers in all the states in the region and present an overview of the political development in the respective countries.
- Syllabus
- Topics: Introduction into the Latin American politics, Political system of Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Nicaragua, Brazil. Model of the United Nations over selected Latin American crisis (Peru-Ecuador border issue, Las Malvinas or others)
