Course objectives
This course presents an elementary coverage of management practice. It focuses on the functions and principles of human resources management. Students will also get acquinted with tools of measuring the efficiency of both processes and teams, identify the possible problems of the structure of the work place and design solutions of such problems.

Methods and ways of measuring efficiancy of organizations in the public sector. 5. Controlling in the organizations in the public sector. 6. Reengineering. 7. Seminar - project presentations. 8. Design and evaluation of projects of organizations in the public sector. 9. Criteria and tools of choice of investments. 10. Forms of internal and external communication. 11. Personal management. 12. Process of tranformation of public sector dut to the European integration. 13. Seminar - evalutation.

Lectures, seminars, discusions, case studies.
Assessment methods
To pass the course, the student has to gain minimum of 60 points out of 100. 40 points can be gained in the written exam, 40 for the written asignment and 20 for active participation in the seminars. Grading: A:100 – 93 B:92 - 85 C:84 – 77 D:76 - 69 E:68 - 61, F:60 and less.
