Tento seminář poskytne studentům úvodní vhled do diskuse o globalizaci světové ekonomiky a jejích politických důsledcích. Zároveň s tím je ambicí kursu překročit omezení, která charakterizovala počáteční pokusy konceptualizovat fenomén globalizace na poli mezinárodní politické ekonomie. Kurs bude sledovat postupné otevření disciplíny vlivům z jiných oborů a poskytne studentům možnost samostatně přemýšlet o teoretických problémech i problémech spojených s empirickým výzkumem. Díky tomu je kurs otevřen i těm, kteří se o samotný problém globalizace primárně nezajímají.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Tento kurs je seminář. Podstata kursu spočívá v diskusi textů. Úspěch kursu proto závisí na samostatné přípravě studentů. Kurs předpokládá, že studenti budou číst povinnou literaturu na každý seminář a budou aktivně participovat v seminárních diskusích. Pro přípravu referátu je nutno přečíst také nejméně doporučenou literaturu uvedenou v sylabu.
