Course objectives
The aim of this course is to learn (selectively) new theories of socialpsychology, developmental psychology, and psychology of personality. Student will analyse new concepts and models, they also will study how these theoretical concepts inluence an empirical research. Besides of relevant knowledge regarding psychological theories, students should develope comparative skills and critical thinking and skill to connect emmpirical findings and theoretical framework.

  • Self psychology and the concept of identity
  • Belief in a just world, social justice, and SP
  • Gender stereotypes: theory, research, application

  • Discourse, language, and social psychology

Teaching methods
The course consists of weekly thematic modules that typically include reading of relevant chapters and papers, lectures, seminars and graded activities. Students are obliged read the assigned chapters and papers and use the IS e-learning system to read the supplemental literature, which is available electronically in PDF and/or Word format.
Assessment methods
Students are expectd to read the assigned literature, to prepare oral presentation, to write a theoretical paper. Final exam is based on written test.
