Syllabus
  • As part of the course, during the semester, students regularly visit the Brno Medical University, where they work with patients for whom neurocognitive training has been indicated by a psychologist, both inpatients and outpatients. These are mainly patients with cognitive problems ranging from subjective complaints, mild cognitive impairment to mild dementia, which are most often caused by neurological disease, craniotrauma or pseudodementia. The training is conducted for the purpose of strengthening cognitive functions or activating the patient. Neurocognitive training is implemented directly in the inpatient wards of the Brno General Hospital, or in the premises of the Department of Clinical Psychology within the premises of the Brno General Hospital. The students' activity takes place under the supervision of psychologists of the Department of Clinical Psychology of the Faculty Hospital in Brno
