- Course objectives
- Be able to understand the influence of a language upon a culture and vice versa. To be able to identify key language groups and possible similarities or differences it has upon culture.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to: - identify the influence of a language upon a culture - to distinguish between core language groups - to use academic terminology of linguistic anthropology
