Course objectives
This course introduces students to important theories, concepts, and research topics in contemporary political sociology. It focuses on classic and current issues, questions, approaches, and research.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- define and conceptualize the basic categories of political sociology
- distinguish between different approaches to the study of political phenomena
- understand the broader political processes and structures in our societies

Successful completion of the course is contingent upon a minimum of 30% of the  preliminary assignments. The final grade is based on the total %: 0-59%: F, 60-67%: E, 68-75%: D, 76-83%: C, 84-91%: B, 92-100%: A
