Students are expected to apply for participation at worskhop in terms which are determined by Call for papers (specific for each year).

Cíle předmětu
The goal of the course is to offer students feedback concerning their subsequent steps in writing dissertation, enable them contact with leading professors in public policy, organizational studies and social work, and to give them opportunity to follow lectures by those professors.
Osnova
  • Precondition for passing the course is taking part on "Spring Doctoral Seminar EUSOC NEW", presenting and discussing an elaborated part of his or her dissertation in English to the international panel of professors and taking part on lectures by members of the panel during the seminar. The subject SPP022 takes place every spring semester. The students have to enroll in SPP022 obligatory one times during first and second year of their doctoral study of SPSW and one times during third and fourth year of their doctoral study of SPSW. (Students who pass 8 semesters before spring 2013 are not obliged to enroll in SPP022. Students who pass between 4 and 7 semesters before spring 2013 are obliged to enroll in SPP013 one times. Students who pass less then 4 semesters before spring 2013 and students who enter their doctoral study of SPSW after autumn 2012 are obliged to enroll in SPP022 two times.).
  • Workshop programm is specific in each year. Usually it includes:
  • 2-3 lessons given by invited professors
  • Students’ presentations, feedback from 2 professor and 1 student and general discussion (1 hour for each paper).
