Prerequisites (in Czech)
Kurz je určen pro studenty oboru Sociální politika a sociální práce nejlépe v 1. semestru jejich studia. Pomocí optiky přenášené v tomto předmětu se studenti naučí vnímat sociální politiku a sociální práci v jejich souvislostech.

Course objectives
The aim of course is to acqauint students with: 1. Conception of profession social policy and social work (SPSW), which endeavours to connect work with clients and the creation of politics of social services, 2. With the profil of the alumnus of profession SPSW and fundaments of conception of study of social policy and social work. At the end of this course, students should be able to: Understand and be able to explain connection and liaison between social policy and social work, to complex assess the living situation of client from the point of view person-in-environment according to Bartlett.
Syllabus
  • Structure: 1. Introduction to the aim and the organisation of the course. 2. Delimitation of profession SPSW and its key concepts (living situation, social functioning, social politics, social work, differences and links of social politics and social work, cognitive dependence of perception of situation of clients, education in social work). 3. Application of concepts living situation and cognitive dependence of perception on situation of clients to the chosen case of client.

Teaching consist of: 3 group consultations and individual consultations to the written essay. Credit: consist of two parts: two question based on literature and written essay.
